Congratulations on your pregnancy! What an exciting time with all the anticipation, plans, and the cute pregnancy announcements! If you are a Christian, you may want to use a bible verse for a pregnancy announcement.
No worries, I got you covered!
Here are the most beloved bible verses you can use for your pregnancy announcement, plus some cute ideas on how to announce your pregnancy!
Bible Verse for a Pregnancy Announcement
“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” –James 1:17
This is probably the most beloved bible verse for a pregnancy announcement. You can find this verse on mugs, t-shirts, baby onesies, and cards! This is also my personal favorite as it is so simple, straight-forward, and so fitting!
“Behold, children are a gift from the Lord, a fruit of the womb a reward.” –Psalm 127:3
This is such a fitting bible verse for a pregnancy announcement! It shows that you accept this beautiful gift the Lord has given you.
“For this child I have prayed.” –1. Samuel 1:27
This one is particularly loved by couples who may have had a harder time getting pregnant. If through natural, IVF, or even through adoption, many christians spend many hours in prayer praying for the chance of having a baby.
If this is your story, then this bible verse is very fitting!
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” –Ecclesiastes 3:11
This is such a cute pregnancy and birth announcement! Having this printed on a newborn onesie and using it as a pregnancy announcement, and then 9 months later as a birth announcement is such an adorable and multi-use idea!
“We’ve received one blessing after another.” –John 1:16
This bible verse is so fitting for if this is not your first pregnancy! Your little children are huge blessings and gifts from God, and having more than one sure is something we should not take for granted!
“When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.” -Isaiah 60:22
This one is also so fitting for couples who went through miscarriages, years of infertility, or even struggles to adopt. For the Lord knows when the time is right, and he does everything in his perfect time!
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” -Jeremiah 1:5
It is always so good to know that the Lord is watching over your little baby, even in the womb. This verse has such a calming and personal touch, don’t you think?
“For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy -Psalm 92:4
This is just a bible verse of praise to our Saviour and can always be used to praise the wonderful works and blessing of an expectant new family member!
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” -Psalm 139:13
This bible verse is similar to the one above, as it proclaims the big miracles God does when he creates a baby in their mother’s womb.
“Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children are their fathers.” -Proverbs 17:6
This bible verse is the most fitting when announcing a pregnancy to future grandparents! It would be fun to see if they get the hint!
“She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her.” -Proverbs 3:15
This is such a fitting verse when announcing the arrival of a little baby girl! What a beautiful bible verse to wish for a little baby girl!
“The child was growing and becoming strong in spirit.” -Luke 1:80
I feel like this verse would be so fitting for a pregnancy announcement for a little boy, however, both genders work totally fine as well!
“The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.” -Judes 6:12
Now this is such a noble and perfect verse for the arrival of a little boy! It may not be as fitting for a pregnancy announcement but definitely when announcing a birth, so I thought to include it, for future ideas you know?
