Pregnancy is such a wonderful time in a believer’s life. We get to see and feel firsthand the miracles of Christ. However, pregnancy has its ups and downs, and we cannot forget to say some pregnancy prayers to bless the little baby and soon-to-be mom.
As the bible says:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..” Jeremiah 1:5
God already knows the little babies when they are in their mother’s wombs. So shouldn’t we pray for them? For their development, health, future life. And also say a pregnancy prayer for the expecting mom, for her health, safety, blessing her throughout her pregnancy and for the future delivery.
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” 1. Peter 5:7
God hears our prayer. So let’s be vigilant and pray! I hope you enjoy these pregnancy prayers!

May God be with you on your big day.

Safety for Unborn Baby
This life you have given us, is so tiny, fragile, and vulnerable,
Safe in the womb of flesh and hope, yet subject to danger and death.
O God of love, creator of life, hear our prayer.
We want this baby so much. Please grant this child of ours a full term of nurture.
The joy and mystery of life, and the blessing of your love.
Grant us the fulfillment of our dreams, a baby to cherish and protect,
A child to teach and guide, a blessing to our family.

Priorities During Pregnancy Prayer
Heavenly Father, you are the one who gives us peace.
I ask for your forgiveness, for all the times I did not make you my priority, and did not turn to you, your Word, and prayer. I need your help Lord to not let my fleshly desires and mind distract me from you. Help me to always seek you first of all.
Help me to never lose sight of what is important, your love, power, and grace. Thank you for not turning away from me, no matter how lost I have been. Help guide my path so I may keep my priorities in order and put you first.

Praying for a Pregnant Person
Father in Heaven, you see (insert name) who is expecting and awaiting the birth of their child. Give her the confidence and strength necessary and take away all anxiety and fear. Giving birth is scary and uncertainty and anxiety try to take hold of every birthing woman. Let her look to you for strength and trust your loving care. As (insert name) begins to prepare to bring this new life into this world, bless her with health and great joy for the times to come.

Heavenly Father, I confess that you are my Refuge; I trust You during this pregnancy and childbirth. I am thankful that You have put angels at watch over me and my unborn child. Father,
I thank you for the wonderful blessing that you have bestowed upon me. The gift of life with which you have entrusted me is more than I can care for on my own. I pray that in this time of expectancy I will remember that all strength comes through you. I pray that I will turn to you often for help and guidance. I pray that I will accept your help in the form of others, such as family and friends who are eager to participate in this journey. I pray that in this time you will prepare my heart for the honor of parenthood. That my heart may be softened in love and freed from my self-centered tendencies. Thank you for trusting me with this gift- please mold me to be worthy of receiving it.

Psalm 139:13-16

I know that full well.

when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
God sees the little babies. Each knows them before they see the light on Earth. He loves them, takes care of them, and forms them perfectly.
